Dr. Carr was absolutely fantastic. He made me feel so at ease during the procedure. He talked me through what he was doing and made sure to always check up on me. The procedure took like only 15 minutes, and after I could already see better. I have 0 regrets getting lasik done and highly recommend Dr. Carr! I also want to give a shout out to the wonderful staff. They are the friendliest, most wonderful people I have had the pleasure to meet.
Highly recommend!!! If you are even thinking about LASIK, at least come in for the consultation. Dr. Dolan does such a great job providing you with all the information and answering any questions, which really calmed me down and got me excited about the procedure. The treatment itself went well, I had issues keeping my eyes open but Dr. Carr helped me through it, giving me tips and keeping me calm throughout. He talked the whole treatment and he is a funny, wonderful guy to listen to! I really appreciated that he was my surgeon. Each eye takes only 5 minutes. I’m so glad I did it while I’m young so I have so many years to enjoy it! I traveled from Wilmington NC to get it done at this institute and I am 1000% glad I did, they are amazing!

Amazing…I can’t say it enough, I should have done this years ago. The entire staff was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and extremely patient from beginning to end. They made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. My surgeon was magnificent and the surgery was quick and painless(I’m talking 15 minutes quick). He talked me through the procedure and the after-care instructions. I was able to see immediately after the procedure (like immediately); I was completely shocked. I couldn’t remember the last time I could see clearly without glasses or contacts, but I could that day. I followed the after-care instructions and the next day I was good to go. I went to a football game the next day. I recommend LASIK and the LASIK Vision Institute in Durham, NC, 10 out of 10.
