Dr. Erica Zeiders's Bio and Credentials
Dr. Erica Zeiders spent eight years in private optometric practice which provided her with comprehensive eye care experience making her an asset to patients at LasikPlus – Salt Lake City. A graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University, her path to her profession was a natural one as she comes from a family of optometrists, her father and grandfather were optometrists as well. During her residency in binocular vision and pediatric optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry, she provided care to approximately 1,000 pediatric and acute care patients.
She has also worked with the Chicago Vision Outreach Program, the Infant Welfare Society and the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired and has assisted in teaching pediatric and binocular vision laboratories to optometry students.
Dr. Zeiders likes working with LASIK patients as it allows her to develop a connection with each patient as she learns about them, their hobbies, and their goals post-procedurally. She also loves the immediate quality of life change that laser vision correction provides to patients.
In her free time, Dr. Zeiders spends time with her husband, daughter and son and enjoys hiking, skiing, watching movies, and traveling.
