Dr. Paul A. Frascella's Bio and Credentials
Dr. Paul A. Frascella is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology, and has been in practice as a general Ophthalmologist since 1994.
Dr. Frascella performed his first LASIK procedure in 1997 and had his own LASIK procedure in 1999 at LasikPlus. Dr. Frascella received his Bachelor’s Degree from Ursinus College and has a Master’s Degree in Biology from Villanova University. He went on to graduate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine with his D.O. degree. He completed an internship at Atlantic City Medical Center and residency training in Ophthalmology at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine – Grandview Hospital and Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio.

I tried to investigate LASIK 10 years ago and was unable, due to the large correction (5.25 diopter) recently my wife had it and insisted I get reevaluated. I did, and the newer technology made me a candidate. I scheduled as soon as I possibly could. I Have worn thick glasses since the first grade and have been made fun of my entire life. The professionalism of the staff was amazing. The actual procedure took a total of 30 seconds per eye. When I sat up off the table I was already seeing clearly. This has been life changing for me . I have never been able to see clearly without glasses ever. I’m typing this on my cellphone and seeing the tiny font clearly. I absolutely recommend LasikPlus they have made this experience amazing.
Dr. Smith and his team made my experience so smooth and easy. He was informative throughout the entire process and incredibly gentle. I felt very protected under his care and loved his bedside manner. He was intentional in keeping me in the know while simultaneously keeping things lighthearted by asking me questions about my life. I can’t recommend LASIK enough, especially with Dr. Kenneth Smith, for those whom are candidates of the procedure. It’s incredible how QUICK your vision can transform in such little time and with such minimal discomfort (I never had any pain). I love waking up with the ability to see clearly. Not to mention the money you’ll save overtime without the need of purchasing contact lenses and glasses. A win all around and my only regret is not having it done sooner!
This was an absolutely amazing experience! My surgeon was top notch and the most kind and caring person. I highly recommend this office as the staff is nice and professional; I felt like family from the start. If you’re considering Lasik, consider LasikPlus!
Wonderful, caring staff. They all explained what was going to be happening at each examining machine and what to expect. Dr. Smith was very thorough in his explanation of what to expect during the procedure. No surprises. Was able to read a text on my phone 10 minutes after the procedure. Thanks so much. No more searching for my glasses.
