At first I was a bit hesitant with the first “consultation” call. I logged into teams as I was told and sat there for about 15 minutes. Then my phone rang and it was the call center. The lady asked me if I had any questions - but when I asked her something specific to my eye she couldn’t answer. It was very much just a “run through what happens, hype it up, get some basic info, and schedule you,” kind of meeting. A couple days later my doctor called me and it went a lot smoother. Asked me some questions, and took note of my question from above. Day of appointment I was nervous! I had been going back and forth all week whether I wanted to really go through with it our not. I’m so glad I did! I got there a little early (my pre-op was at noon and if approved procedure at 1) and when the staff got back from lunch we were right down to business. Got my eyes checked, and then the doctor came in and checked out the question I had asked her. She told me everything looks great and there was no reason to not be able to go through. We went up front and went through the paperwork, paid, and got my “goodie bag” of drops, supplements, sleep mask, and paperwork. I was led to a darkened room and was given some drops while I watched a video on the procedure. The surgeon came in and introduced himself and led me to the procedure room. Laid down on the first bed, and the surgeon got me positioned. He put the suction on (the worst part), and had me lay very still. His voice was calming and he was very thorough. Quickly switched to the second eye. Both eyes for the first part was MAYBE 5 minutes. Got helped over to the second bed. They move the flap that the first laser created, wipe the bubbles off of the eye (so weird), and then get ready for the second laser. This part was BIZARRE. It didn’t hurt at all - but you look at a green laser and then the “lights” are kinda rainbow pixelated. Honestly you’d have to have it done to understand. Then there is a smell - people have described it as burning hair - I thought it smelled like when you get your nails dremeled/filed at a nail salon. That part took maybe 10 seconds per eye. They get you sat up, get your lovely glasses on, and lead you out. I was calling for my ride at 1:06pm. Within about 10 minutes I could already make out words across the room that I wouldn’t have been able to before. The staff was wonderful (my ride got lost and I ended up being there 45 minutes extra) and offered me more numbing drops because they could tell I was getting uncomfortable. When I got home I laid down with my dogs and listened to an audiobook and napped. I woke up and I could see! Started doing my drops (lifesavers). The antibiotics drops are my least favorite part - because I can taste them. Next day I went in for my follow up and got the news I was already at 20/15 vision. I would totally recommend them again! Everyone there was wonderful and it was a quick procedure!

They were thorough on what would happen, provided lots of information that made me feel comfortable and safe, and made the process of getting LASIK really easy! Highly recommend

Best decision I’ve ever made!!! I was so nervous getting Lasik but they did a wonderful job at making me feel comfortable. I thought it was going to be much worse than it really was. I experienced zero pain during the surgery but after the surgery once the numbing wore off I was a little uncomfortable. It was a burning sensation, after I woke up from the recommended nap the burning was gone. I was light sensitive for the rest of that evening and had dry eyes but that’s it. It’s been less than a week since the surgery and the only side effect I’m experiencing is the halos around lights at night. The Dr. said that will improve with healing and time. I had astigmatisms in both eyes and it’s completely gone. My vision is so crisp, it’s honestly the best feeling one can have. Especially if your vision is the most important thing to you. I am still in awe at how clearly I can see and the little side effects I’ve experienced. I hope this helps with anyone who’s nervous about getting Lasik!:)

They were very professional, knowledgeable and gave me some great resources to follow up on since I am not a candidate for Lasik just yet. Maybe in the future if my nearsighted gets more... nearsighted.
