Sean Edelstein, M.D. is a diplomat of, and double board-certified by, the American Board of Ophthalmology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Edelstein completed a Cornea and Refractive Surgery fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis and joined LasikPlus in early 2020. Dr. Edelstein serves as Associate Professor at St. Louis University and is Director of Cornea Services for their residency training program. He has particular expertise in laser refractive surgery, lens-based and cataract surgery, and corneal transplantation. In recognition of his expertise, he has been named one of the Best Doctors in America every year since 2011. In his free time, Dr. Edelstein likes to travel, cycle, and spend time with his family.

Dr Ellis and Dr Gaines are both wonderful at this location, and the front staff too. They walk you through everything and make it a seamless transition from start to finish. I went from Astig/glasses/contacts to better than 20/20 vision the day after the procedure!
Got lasik done Friday with Dr. Ellis. Today (tuesday), I came back to have my vision checked. Everything looked great, and I'm sitting at 20/15 right now, which is fantastic! Honestly, my eyes didn't feel bad at all after lasik. Wasn't really scratchy. My eyes were just a bit tired. Eyes get a little dry, of course, but not that bad at all, and we are given eye drops for this exact reason. Everyone is nice, and my experience has been fantastic! Eyes are still a bit dry and a tad bit foggy, but that's to be expected and I was told, for me, that it'll be a couple months for my vision quality to heal back up. Still, even now, it's significantly better than having glasses. 1000% is worth it, and I recommend going here if you're considering lasik! My only complaint if I had to add one is that the artificial tear bottle isn't that great, maybe it's just me but I keep missing my eyes xD, also I ran out pretty quick (can't imagine why!), so I gotta grab some more. Anyway, thank you all so much! Btw. I was not offered or given anything to write this review. I was simply told that I could give one if I wanted, but I was not pressured into doing so. I am just genuinely happy and appreciative of lasikplus and Dr Ellis and Dr. Carrie Gaines!

Amazing experience from beginning to end! Each person along the way was lovely and informative. The treatment itself was quick and painless. Dr. Ellis makes you feel very calm and relaxed walking you through each step!
I can only describe my Lasic experience as fantastic. Not only where my expectations met thet were exceeded. The entire staff was incredible, answered all my questions and made me feel very at ease. I rarely give five stars, but I would definitely give them at least 6 stars.
