Ronald Grand, O.D. is a retired naval officer with experience in all facets of eye care, including research in aerospace vision and vestibular physiology. Since 1999 he has limited his practice to refractive surgery and, in this capacity, has since cared for tens of thousands of patients. He has been with LasikPlus since 2009.
In his spare time, Dr. Grand enjoys sailing, biking, scuba diving, and spending time with his wife, who is also an optometrist.

Absolutely incredible company and staff! I had so much fun during my appt, and can’t wait to get Lasik done!
Awesome people to work with. Everyone was super nice and soft spoken. Super easy, swift process. They’re super lenient with selecting same-week surgery, also. They were pretty Affordable for me. They also put you in these warm relaxing rooms by yourself to watch videos on a tablet. It could alleviate any anxiety you might have. Highly recommend getting your eyes fixed. Life changing experience. Today is day after surgery and I can already see!! No more having glasses slipping down my oily nose. Love it.
I have to admit I was really nervous about getting the lasik procedure done. But the comfort that everyone gave me (front desk rep to the nurses to the eye examiner to the surgeon) they all did an amazing job! I’m recommending everyone to this facility. Went in at 9am on 4/28 for the exam and had to go to another location in Maitland (6 Minutes away) because of a power outage that happened overnight. Got the surgery done by 5pm same day. Came back on Monday 5/1 for my follow up and the staff treated not just myself but everyone there so well. After my appointment was finished I went and got the staff some treats as a small thank you gift. 5 stars and recommend to anyone that’s considering doing lasik!
