I want to share my experience on Lasik Plus after having laser surgery. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and in good hands. The team was very professional, attentive and made sure to explain every step of the procedure to me, which gave me a lot of confidence. The surgery was quick and without complications. Although I felt some discomfort for the first few hours after the procedure, I soon noticed an improvement in my vision that has only gotten better each day. I deeply thank God for having guided me in this process and for always being present taking care of my health. Additionally, I am extremely grateful for the staff at Lasik Plus, who made my experience positive and safe at all times. If you are considering this surgery, I encourage you to inform yourself well and, of course, trust a team as qualified as Lasik Plus.

I underwent LASIK on 9/6/24. I scheduled a consult for 9AM and they were able to get me in the procedure room at 1045 that morning. The actual procedure took MAYBE 15 minutes. There are two tables in the operating room. The first step is to lay at one while the staff drops numbing eyedrops into your eyes. These work instantly. Next they put the ring on your eye that holds your eye open. There is some uncomfortable pressure but it does not hurt. That takes about 3-5 seconds. They then slide you to the machine that cuts the flap. Once again, uncomfortable but not painful. I received treatment for both eyes so I did this twice, one in each eye. After both eyes had flaps cut I was helped to my feet by the staff to move to the next table. You will need help because cutting the flap causes your eyes to “frost” up. Almost as if you are looking at lights through a frosted windshield. The next table is the laser table. The doctor will tell you to look at the green light while he uses a tool to fold the flap back. He will also squirt some solution to clean your eye with the tool. Not painful just odd. Remember you are still numb and cannot feel a thing. Once he is ready he will turn on the laser and the only thing you will notice is the smell. To me it smelt like burning hair. The laser was on for maybe 10 seconds for my treatment. The doctor will then clean the eye really quick with some solution and close the flap. This will be repeated if you are getting treatment on the other eye as well. My only issue while this was being done was that the doctor was describing everything he was doing for the first eye and it made me nauseous I had to take a 2 minute break after the first eye. They were understanding and told me they would wait for my go ahead to start again. The second eye the doctor didn’t describe what he was doing and it was no problem. All of the staff and doctors were very polite and helpful. When you finish, they give you TylenolPM and send you on your way. While on my way home my eyes felt like I touched them with some peppery hands because the numbing drops were wearing off. I took a 3-4 hour nap and when I woke up there was no pain. Three days later I went to my checkup and am seeing 20/15 in my left and 20/25 in my right. That should improve in 3-12 weeks they said. September had some sort of promotion so I got ~1100$ off at my total was roughly $4000. I definitely recommend LasikPlus.

As everyone else has said, this has been something that is long overdue. I’m so happy with my results. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!

Great and caring staff. Went in and got my exam and was found a candidate for lasik! Not even 20 minutes later I got the procedure done it was fast and painless even if I was a little bit nervous. Now I'm seeing 20/15 vision without glasses! Thank you LasikPlus!
