What an amazing experience. Fast, and painless! The staff at TLC are so knowledgeable, super sweet and walk you through the entire process. Special thanks to the staff, Erica, Daisha, Monserrath! They were awesome and able to answer any questions I had. Dr. Speaker performed my procedure flawlessly, He did an amazing job helping keep my nerves down by talking to me throughout the procedure. Also, Dr. Speaker checked in with me after my procedure to make sure everything was going well which was very nice. Thank you Dr. Speaker for my new vision, Im very happy! 😊

My wife had LASIK surgery here and we are very happy with the results. She now has 20/20 vision. Staff has been very kind and supportive and professionals here are great. The surgeon was Dr. Speaker who was very professional and also followed up after the surgery by sms. Overall great experience.

I’ve been wanting to do LASIK for more years than I can count, but was scared and couldn’t afford it. After saving up and asking for referrals, I spent about a year doing consultations, including an especially bad one at Moadel LASIK. After all that work, I decided to go with Dr. Mark Speaker. The consultation was with another physician (forgot her name!), but I still found it very helpful and not rushed. I was given a few options, with the physician being candid about the pros and cons of each, without trying to upsell or push for the more expensive one. Although she mentioned that she went for the less expensive option, it was a long time ago when she was a student. ??I ultimately decided to go with the more personalized, expensive procedure. I went with Contoura over Wavefront, which was $300 more per eye. While I thought it was a small increase for a lifetime of improved vision, I’m not an expert, so I can’t say for sure that Wavefront wouldn’t have given virtually the same results. In the end, I’m paying based on a guess, but mostly for personal reassurance. The check-in with the receptionist was smooth, and everyone was friendly and relaxed. The process was streamlined, and I noticed that there were chairs for about 3-4 patients near the surgery room, which were all filled with people like me. I guess this part sucks, but it didn't feel overbooked like it might've been at Moadel. When it was my turn, I was nervous, but Dr. Speaker was friendly, charming, and put me at ease with the right timing and reassuring descriptions of what was happening. The procedure was quick, and I didn’t feel much during it. It seemed to take no more than five minutes. I was incredibly surprised by how good my vision was immediately after surgery. (I mostly kept saying "WTF!" in my mind.) A physician checked my eyes, gave me sunglasses, and provided instructions for after-care. I took a cab home and rested with my eyes closed for 6-8 hours, keeping them shut for most of the weekend but still able to open them comfortable to eat, go to the bathroom, etc. The downtime closing my eyes didn’t feel overly necessary, but I knew it was for my eyes to heal. I used the eye drops as instructed and never experienced dry eyes, even after finishing the medicated drops. I can’t believe how great it is to not wear contacts or glasses, which I’ve had to use all my life. Also, I really appreciated that the doctor texted me directly both before and after the procedure. The messages were friendly, detailed, and open to any questions. I’m guessing it was a template sent by an assistant, but it still showed that someone took the time to implement this process and make sure it came across as down-to-earth. I'm 18 months post-LASIK, and there have been no complications, and no dry eyes! Thank you everyone at this specific TLC!
