So it’s official - I am a LASIK evangelist now! The procedure was SO quick and easy, I seriously can’t emphasize that enough. Do not be anxious. You can’t even see for part of the procedure, and the other part was just looking at a light like at a regular eye doc appt. You have numbing drops in so you can’t feel a thing, just a little pressure (closest comparison is if someone was pushing gently on your eyelid). It was all done in no more than 30 minutes - including signing consents and being given instructions for the eye drops and the procedure itself. Everyone involved in the process from beginning to end was competent and kind. And I can see! Two days later and I have 20/20 vision, pretty close to that immediately after (I was reading all the billboards - even the tiny print! - on the ride home). My eyes are a little dry but they tell me that should resolve soon. Cannot recommend enough. Only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner.
