Dr. Aisha Arshad's Bio and Credentials
Dr. Aisha Arshad graduated in 2015 from Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she earned her Doctorate in Optometry. Her previous work experience has provided her with the opportunity to work closely with multiple ophthalmologists in the pre- and post-operative care of cataract surgery, retinal and glaucoma care. She is well versed in the diagnosis and management of anterior and posterior segment pathologies as well as retinal diseases and has a specialty in dry eye treatment. She has also partnered with neurology as a primary eye care physician offering assistance in the care of patients with a neurological component affecting eyesight such as Multiple Sclerosis, Pseudotumor Cerebri, Adie’s Tonic pupil, lesions within the brain, and cranial pulsies.
In addition to her clinical work with patients as an optometrist, Dr. Arshad has research experience having conducted research on contact lens wear time and the growth of bacteria and presented at the 22nd annual Buffalo Conference on Microbial Pathogenesis.
