502/10/2019 This is the beginning of my journey with LasikPlus in Houston. I will update throughout the process.
I have experienced trouble seeing since I was 5 years old. I am now 33 and I have been interested in Lasik for sometime but have been very scared to let anyone mess with my eyes. However, I work daily on a computer and the constant squinting is causing daily headaches behind my eyes. That is what led me to LasikPlus. After reviewing their site and seeing pricing information which plainly explains that the cost COULD be $250 but I am going into it knowing that is not going to happen for that price and I am expecting to pay the highest amount I have seen which is around $4,000. Financing options all seem wonderful but we will see.
I have read a lot of reviews, done a lot of research and worried a lot that the reviews were not genuine. After finding out that the reviews were being done in-office in exchange for a free shirt, I wanted to make sure that I got a jump on my review, my process and experience so that someone else may get more accurate information.
Currently, I go to the consultation appointment on Friday 02/15/2019 and I can not wait. So far, everyone I have spoke with in scheduling has been very wonderful. I hope that my experience with LasikPlus will continue to be a great one. I will update again after consultation appointment!

5I went for a free consultation after hearing commercial in radio. I end up booking the surgery 2 weeks after. The price of procedure is about $3000 for both eyes. It’s not $250 per eye as they advertise. Well any way, is worth it. Everything was super quick, literally few minutes under laser and you can see. First few hours my eyes hurt and burned but in went way after a nap. I am second day after the Lasik and don’t feel any discomfort. I see everything so well is amazing.
The clinic is very nice, clean and professional. Dr. January made me fell comfortable and answer all my questions. I would do it again and definitely recommend to everyone.

5Overall it was a great experience. The staff, doctors, and surgeon were very thorough and detailed. They explain the procedure from start to end. From. Consultation to the actual visit. I would recommend getting the life time warrant wave plan. When you go to the consultation ask for any referral, promotional discounts, eye insurance discount, and early surgery scheduling discount. With the combination of all these I managed to get a fair price compared to the my peers and family that got it done. When I got my procedure done they provided the eye drop prescription and I didn't have to call the pharmacy, but everyone else apparently want given that option. So u won't have to pay for the medicine ask if you can use their pharmacy samples and save some money if it's right for you. After your surgery ask for the sleeping Goggles it looks like they don't give them out unless you ask. And also on ur follow up check up ask for the night time driving glasses, same they won't give them unless you ask and they're free. Overall Dr. January did an excellent job and the staff. Highly recommend them.

5I did my lasik last Friday and now can see better than 20/20! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and Dr. January was really professional, going over exactly what I will experience during surgery. The surgery itself was over in about 10 minutes, and after a nap I woke up to the best vision in many many years. Will recommend to my family and friends!

5Everyone in the office is so friendly and super helpful! Before and even after my procedure, every time I called the office, all my questions were answered. From the consultation to the follow up appointments, everything is really quick. Dr. January is the best! He does a really good job at calming any nerves you have before the procedure. I'm so happy with my results and glad I chose LasikPlus! If I could give LasikPlus 10 stars, I would! Definitely recommending to all my friends and family!

You have decided it’s time for LASIK. After researching and talking to your friends, you decide it’s time for LASIK at LasikPlus. So who are you going to meet on your journey?
Myopia is the medical term for “nearsightedness”. Being nearsighted means you can see near objects well without the use of glasses or contact lenses, but your distance vision is blurry. Myopia affects about one out of every 3 or 4 people.
