From the doctors, to the staff, everyone was fabulous. Customer Service exceeded my expectations. The surgery itself was painless and quick. The outcome was more than I could’ve ever wanted. I see better now than I did with classes in contacts. Everything is clear and crisp. It’s a whole New World.
I had gotten my LASIK procedure on June 9th 2025. I am extremely happy with my results. From the front desk to the operating room the people were awesome. It was pretty much a 3-step process. 1. They check your eyes to see if you're a candidate. 2. Then they give you an eye exam just like you would for glasses or contacts. 3. The doctor doing the procedure will do the final checks and then does the procedure. I had TERRIBLE eyesight before the procedure and now I have 20/15 vision now which I never could have imagined in my life. I see better than I ever could in my glasses or contacts. I always said that if I could see like I do in my contacts, I'd be happy enough but this is WAY better. My advice if you have the money and wanting to do it, schedule it on a day when the doctor is there because you can literally get checked, pay your money and get the procedure done all on the same day. The surgery itself probably took about 10 minutes and there was no pain. The pain happens afterwards when you get home but is tolerable. It feels like having on a dirty contact lens. When they tell you to go home and take a nap, TAKE THE NAP! It makes the pain a lot less irritating but it pretty much is gone after you wake up. You will feel normal after about 6 hours and you can go to work after 24 hours. This was one of the best decisions I've made in my life and I'm extremely satisfied. I've worn glasses since the 3rd grade (I'm currently 46) and it's crazy that I don't have to wear them anymore. I am still getting used to not having to take my contacts out or having to look for my glasses. My "glasses habits" are taking a while to get used to but this is one problem I can live with. If you're thinking about getting LASIK but not sure, DO IT! This shit is great! Look for my name on Facebook or look up J Lew on TicTok where I go into greater detail about the procedure. I got my LASIK done in Leawood, Kansas and my surgeon was Dr. Dean Ellis.
Dr. Dean and his staff were so Amazing! Kat was so awesome. My procedure was so quick and painless. As many have said, I wished I had done it sooner. I didn’t know before that it was that easy and the payment plans are affordable. I highly recommend it and Dr. Dean and his staff!!! It feels great not to wear my glasses or contacts!
The whole process from start to finish was great. All of the employees were super nice and informative!
