Meet F. Michael Cornell, M.D.
Dr. Cornell has been performing laser vision correction for 15 years, five of which have been spent at LasikPlus. In total, Dr. Cornell has performed over 17,000 laser vision corrections.
Dr. Cornell's Portland team is dedicated to giving each patient the very best care and providing the patient with an incredible surgical experience. Dr. Cornell is also amongst experts in cataract lens replacement. He has been performing cataract procedures since 1979. He now partners with Visium Eye Institute™ to provide complete cataract solutions to his patients. He offers a wide variety of replacement lenses to not only relieve the cataract but also to correct near and distance vision, astigmatism as well as close up vision for reading without glasses. Dr. Cornell retired from the US Army as a Colonel after 22 years. Most of his free time is spent with family. He enjoys playing golf, snow skiing, and bicycling.
