Dr. Chaknis is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in LASIK and has performed over 14,000 LASIK
procedures. He has been a instructor at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual meeting three times and has had
articles published in leading medical journals. In addition to having LASIK on his own eyes, Dr. Chaknis has also
performed LASIK on many members of his own family, doctors, lawyers, athletes, and TV/Radio personalities.
