Howard Straub, D.O.
Dr. Howard Straub is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in refractive surgery. With more than 25 years of experience he has performed thousands of LASIK procedures and has been involved in the infancy and development of other vision improving technologies. Dr. Straub has been extremely dedicated to ongoing research and education being part of Michigan State University’s clinical faculty as a Refractive Surgery Fellowship Trainer. He holds a patent in the field of presbyopia, (for those in need of reading glasses as one ages). Dr. Straub has served on the faculty of over 60 courses and has taught and performed surgery in 10 countries. He has supervised FDA clinical trials and has written a textbook chapter on LASIK eye surgery.
