D. King Aymond, M.D. received his medical degree in ophthalmology from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He then completed a residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Dr. Aymond is a fellow of and board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a LASIK specialist. He has been performing laser vision correction since 1995 and has been with LasikPlus since 2007. In total, Dr. Aymond has performed over 53,000 laser vision corrections.He was the first physician in Wisconsin to perform PRK on a FDA approved excimer laser. Dr. Aymond was also the first physician to perform a LASIK procedure in Wisconsin. Dr. Aymond has participated as an investigator in 7 FDA clinical studies for LASIK and PRK for nearsightedness, hyperopia and astigmatism.
